CITATION FORMAT
FOR BASIC SOURCES:

To cite a book properly, we need to include
first of all the author´s last name and then the initials of the names. Then,
the year of publication in parenthesis, followed by the title of the work in italics
and the subtitles in capital letters, only we have to capitalize the first letter
of the title or the subtitle. Later, we include the location of publication and
the publisher followed by parenthesis.
Author last name, A (year of publication) Title of work: Capital letter also for subtitle.Location: Publisher
JOURNAL
ARTICLES:
At the beggining
we have to list the author´s name with the initial, then add the year of
publication and the title of the article followed by a period. The title must be
in italics and also the volume. After that we have to include the issue number
between parenthesis and finally indicate the inclusive pages between
parenthesis.
Author, A.A, Author, B.B, & Author, C.C. (Year) Title of article. Title of periodical, volume number (issue number), pages.
MAGAZINES:
The first thing
we have to include when citing magazines is the author´s last name followed by the

parenthesis indicating first the year, then the month and the day. Following
the date, we have to include the title of the article in italics followed by a
period, then the volume number and finally the inclusive pages.
Author, A. A. (date). Title of article. Title of periodical. Volume, pages.
NEWSPAPERS:
Citing newspapers
in almost identical to the citation for
magazines but the only difference is the pagination which includes either a “P”
for single pages and a “PP” for double pages.
